At the age of 16 (1954), I made my first feeble attempt at preaching a Gospel sermon. In the subsequent decades of preaching the Gospel, I have authored hundreds of treatises. Lavonne, my late beloved wife of 56+ years (she passed to her reward on January 5, 2013), and Andy, our youngest son, have also authored several compositions. Our combined efforts have produced more than 6,000 thousand pages of treatises on the Bible and Bible-related subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I delight in announcing that on July 20, 2019, Diane Tharp, a beautiful and godly lady, honored me by becoming my wife. She lost her beloved husband, Floyd, on July 1, 2007. She and I rejoice that in God’s providence we found in each other the companion with whom to complete our journey toward Heaven. Besides being a devoted wife, she is a very able and valuable partner in the Lord’s work.\u00a0From her career in teaching English, she brings impressive skills to our continuing expansion and improvement of\u00a0<\/span>The Scripture Cache<\/b><\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Various ones have urged me to make these materials more widely available than they are in the 200+ books and dozens of periodicals in which they have been published over the span of more than half a century. This I am pleased to do by means of\u00a0<\/span>The Scripture Cache<\/b><\/em>.\u00a0These materials include commentary on assorted passages of Scripture, character and biographical studies of Bible personalities, essays relating to worship and doctrine, and articles on various ethical, practical, and doctrinal issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I believe the materials you will find here will increase your Bible knowledge, enrich your spiritual perspective, and draw you nearer to God.
