[Note: <\/strong>This MS is available in larger font on our Brief Articles 1\u00a0<\/strong> page.]<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Luke tells us more about the first thirty years of Jesus\u2019 earthly life than the other three who wrote about His life. Even with what Luke tells us, we still know very little, however. For example, the eighteen-year period from age twelve to age 30 in the life of Christ is covered by a summary statement: \u201cAnd Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men\u201d (Luke 2:52). While it is only a summary statement, it gives us a candid glimpse into the well-rounded person Jesus of Nazareth was. Since He was perfect, we are urged to \u201cfollow in His steps\u201d (1 Pet. 2:21\u201322; 1 John 2:5\u20136).
