Two of these in current use relate to the major political parties. Members of the Republican Party who vote for liberal policies are called \u201cRINOS\u201d\u2014Republicans in name only. Likewise, Democrats who vote for conservative policies are called \u201cDINOS\u201d\u2014Democrats in name only.<\/span><\/p>\n In religion, those who claim to be Jesus\u2019 disciples, but who teach and act otherwise, may accurately be called religious \u201cDINOS\u201d\u2014disciples\u00a0<\/strong>in name only.<\/span><\/p>\n Perhaps the first religious DINO who comes to mind is Judas Iscariot. Although he was one of the original apostles, sat at the feet of the Master more than three years, and professed his loyalty to Him, he turned out to be perhaps the world\u2019s most notorious DINO.<\/span><\/p>\n The Bible identifies others who were religious DINOS<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n Modern religious\u00a0DINOS\u00a0<\/strong>also abound:<\/span><\/p>\n Jesus described religious DINOS\u00a0<\/strong>precisely in His question: \u201cWhy call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say?\u201d (Luke 6:46).
